HOW can i save startmenu - size for KDE-PLASMA 5.6.5 between logins ?
I change the startmenu-size but it is always default after restart Have no idea how i can save it ? dont find the right config-file I try new user .... I try save setting for session .... Is the startmenu-size resizeable only for the running - session ? Can i hack a new default - size for the startmenu ? Thanks a lot for answers |

Earlier, under the Plasma 5 subforum: Menu size. Resize or going to be Resizable? - viewtopic.php?f=289&t=128771#p362909 Short: You could set (hardcode) the Layout.minimumWidth and the Layout.minimumHeight by hand in the FullRepresentation.qml. |

sudo nano /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.kickoff/contents/ui/FullRepresentation.qml There is no in my home - directory change Layout.minimumWidth and the Layout.minimumHeight make me happy now ! I think in the future KDE will save this user - setting too by default ! THANKS a lot ! |

The setting will get saved only until the next time you upgrade Plasma. Then your changes will probably be overwritten. |
