Hello,
I have some bugs in my KDE4 appearance.
For launch all my applications, I'm using 'krunner'.
So Alt+F2 opens krunner and I type my command. At the same time a button appears on my taskbar. Once my command is executed krunner button is still here but inoperative. So you can see on my screen shot. Only Firefox is active in this list.

It happened to me one time per 10 sessions. Since I've made an upgrate from 4.1.1 to 4.1.3 it's happens to me on each session.
Do you have any idea how to fix it?

Thank you for any help.

What distribution are you running? Also, are other users on your computer affected? ( creating a new one just for testing will be the cleanest way ) Could you please also list what runners you have installed and active?

A temporary fix for this problem without logging out & in again would be executing the following in konsole:
Code: Select all
killall krunner
krunner &

This will restart KRunner and should therefore clear the excess windows.

I seem to remember Compiz causing a similar problem.

Hello,
bcooksley, yesturday I also saw some other applications in the same case. Unfortunately it's not due to krunner.

Seems JontheEchinda is right. I've turned Compiz off, then restarted Xorg. Problem disappeared. After that I've launched Compiz, and now seems to be OK.

I think that problem comes while KDE starts with Compiz.

I'll test it again and will tell you about.

Thank you.
