When I run a simple shortcut made with the "Link to Application" feature, the cursor keeps loading and the created taskbar item stays for about 7 secs, even though the command is long finished.
I tested it with a simple "echo "hello"" command in the command field of the shortcut's properties and got the same result when running it. So I tried adding "& exit" to see if it would make it stop loading unnecessarily and nope. This is pretty annoying in my case because I use a shortcut to a script file roughly every 30 seconds on average while working on some graphic stuff and I know it's loading for nothing since I get the result immediately. So is there a way to make shortcuts stop loading once the command is finished ? Thanks Specs : OpenSUSE Leap 42.2 64-bit KDE Plasma 5.8.3 and MANJARO 16.10.3 64-bit (probably same Plasma version) |
