[BUG] Gap between screen border and panel

Hello !

I am on KdeNeon (5.10)
1 week after install, after a reboot, a little gap appear between my screen border and the panel (I attach a picture of this)

It never happen before (yes I try to reboot / load other theme/ load default theme)


Any idea ?

Looks like it would be related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380476 .
(if you look closely at your screenshot, you'll notice that there's not really a gap between the screen border and the panel, but there's a thin bar drawn over the panel)

I would suggest to check whether there's some action configured for the bottom screenedge (particularly in Desktop Behavior->Touch Screen, but I'd also look into Desktop Behavior->Screen Edges) and disable it.
Also, if the panel is set to auto-hide, I think that's implemented via screenedge actions too. I'm not sure whether that would be affected as well.

If that's indeed the problem, it should be fixed in 5.10.3 to be released next week.

OTOH, just judging from the screenshot it might just as well be some graphics glitch.
Does enabling/disabling compositing (Shift+Alt+F12) make a difference?

Toggling compositing with Shift + Alt + F12 fixed it. o)

It has been irritating for so long. Finally, fixed it. Thank you very much. How do I buy you a beer?
