Hello everyone, I was wondering if the widgets installed from the kde store update themselves?

They don't. You can open the relevant Get Themes dialogs, Order by -> Installed and it will present Update buttons for any that have updates.
Discover also supports installing things from the kde store, and as such should include those in its update mechanism (if not it should).
