Hi,

I was playing about with the different types of application launchers, widgets and panels and I deleted the original widget that opened when I pressed the super/meta/windows key. I'm assuming it was this action that caused the super key to fail. When I add a new single application launcher back to the main bottom panel the super key no longer opens this menu. How do I restore the original functionality of having the super key open the application launcher?

Thanks

I had the same problem some time back. It's super annoying! Don't know yet what's the problem. The meta key is bound to the first launcher on the desktop. And for some reason it does not always find this one after it got replaced.

You can try to add a new default panel and remove the old one. For me the meta key then works again with the new one.

Ah yeh that fixed the problem. Obviously I had changed the default panel without realizing.

Removing the panel and adding a new default panel fixed the issue.

Thanks for the help.
