Free up plasma memory usage

How do I free up plasma memory usage? It looks like it caches comic strip and this increases plasma memory usage.

you really don't want it fetching it from the internet every time it needs to paint the comic, so caching is necessary there.

what sort of memory constraints are you operating under, or is this just a "i want features but no memory usage" sort of query?

Maybe I'm not being specific on what memory usage I was referring to. My RAM usage increases but failed to go down when I'm browsing through the comic strip plasmoids. It looks like to me that the comic strips are being cached in RAM. If there's an option or command to purge old comic entries just to clear the plasma RAM usage, that would be nice.

I did encounter Plasma RAM usage up to 200+MB and if I could recall, I did include Weather Plasmoid that time. So I'm guessing that the plasmoid did some caching. Do Plasma stores their cache in RAM?
