Hello!
my Linux Distribution is CentOS 7.7.1908, with KDE 4.14.8. CentOS is used as the base to another system called SAGE. After installed, we have 2 users: -sagetr1, with permissions to edit it´s own desktop; -sageihm, with no desktop permissions I need create 4 "shortcuts" on sageihm desktop, but I can´t do it. I tryed editing $HOME/.kde files, using both sageihm and root login, but when I login KDE visual environment, the files return to default configuration. So, I would like to understand: 1) How KDE manages user permissions and 2) How can I, with root access, edit desktop KDE widgets to other user without permissions? Thanks, idranuL |
