neither "leave a note" or "notes" plasmoids are not working totally for me. Neither displays a background no matter the color chosen and "leave a notes" text isn't visible against my dark screen saver (though the red spell checker underline is) as is the "send" button and text is displayed if highlighted.

knotes does work correctly and boggling composite doesn't have an affect on them.

most likely culprit: a messed up theme. which plasma theme are you using?

I was using naked but using elegance or oxygen resolved the problem
