Hi!
Can I set Dolphin as default file manager in Folderview plasmoid? Thanks! |

Right click on any folder in Folder-View. Select "Properties" and click on the settings icon (). In the Application preference order, click on dolphin, and click "Move up" until it is at the top.

Okay. I found it, thanks. The only problem is when i click to one folder in folderview, it opens the folder in Dolphin, but it has 2 panels. The first is my home directory, the another is what I'm selected in folderview. ps.: Split view mode is disabled in Dolphin.

And find the text (under [General]):

This line
is missing from my dolphinrc. BTW I'm added it with false argument. I'm also deleted it but nothing changes. |

Is split view disabled in Settings -> Configure Dolphin (category: Startup) ?
Deleted the dolphinrc file? EDIT: Add the line back as "True" and see if you get it checked under Settings -> Configure Dolphin

Ok, I'm checked it. Folderview has some "delay" with dolphinrc.
If I have SplitView=true in dolphinrc it it means: SplitView=true for Dolphin started from the KMenu. SplitView=false in Dolphin if I start it from folderview. In both places Settings->Startup shows the right values for true | false. BUG![hr] Solved. Dolphin starts by default with the URL: /home/. If I remove this URL from the launcher, it still starts with the path /home/. But when I start it from Folderview it opens the right folder without SplitView. BTW, it is still bug - it doesn't sets SplitView to Enabled when dolphin starts with more then one URL.

Since this sounds like a valid bug, could you please search for a valid bug report, and if one does not exist file one so that the developers are aware of it?
Could you also post links to the bug(s) in question so that future searchers can track the issue? Thanks in advance.
