I loaded kubuntu 8.10 on two of my laptops, and it appears that at least half times the "search " function in the application launch has problem (when you click the app launch icon, it shows your the favorite tab and on top of that there is a search box ), i just cannot type anything into the search box. And after a few minutes, it backs to normal and I can type in and perform search.

a bug or something? What can I do to fix it?
