Is it possible to have plasma widgets that are only displayed when the plasma dashboard is active? I greatly appreciate the ability to bring all the widgets to the front with the dash, but there are many widgets that I don't want always on my desktop. For example, showing the dashboard would be a great way to look up something in the dictionary or check the weather; but I don't have unlimited screen space, and I can't even fit all the widgets I'd like to use. If I understand correctly OS X's dashboard has this same behavior.
Any ideas?

Thread moved to the appropriate section of the forum.
You can add a separate "activity" and place those widgets there. Read here: -4-2-easy-activity ... 22488.html http://forum.kde.org/-tutorial-get-star ... -7671.html
