How do you add and delete entries in the Favorites menu, when the classic menu style is selected (KDE 4.1, opensuse 11.1)?

Maybe there are other workarounds, but I couldn't find any direct way to do it. You can right click on the KMenu icon and select "Switch to Kickoff menu style" from the context menu, edit your favorites and switch back to classic style.

I tried to do that, but it did not work. Changes in the Kickoff menu was not brought back to the classic menu.

You have to restart plasma after you change it.
When you change your favorites at the Kickoff Menu, and change back to classic menu, press Alt+F2 and type in:
Code: Select all
kquitapp plasma

And again press Alt+F2 and type in:
Code: Select all
plasma

Then check the classic menu.
