Hello
a stupid thing happened I deleted either my control panel or window panel (hope this is the correct tranaltion) How ever I can not see these programs which are running in background on my panel. I still have a panel which shows the start menu, clock etc.... I also have a every recent backup -- the question is which file do I need to recover?? THanks in advance Michael

Are you talking about the taskbar/system tray? Which version of KDE do you use? If it's 4.x, you can add them by clicking on the cashew , click on "Add Widgets" and then drag the widgets (taskbar/system tray) to your panel.
If I've misunderstood you, could you please show us a screenshot so we can see what you're missing?
