Hello,

is there a newreader plasmoid available which can display the latest n posts of a newsgroup? I have searched this forum and googled the internet but with no success. Incase there is non I like to put is on a wish list. Where is a appropiate place? Is this on https://bugs.kde.org/ ??

In KDE 4.2 there are two plasmoids for this, thought getting them to work seems tricky atm.

just updated to 4.2RC1 .. I assume I was not accurate asking for "newsreader" I do not mean RSS news. Actually I like to monitor /see the actions of a _news group_ in a plasmoid.
So please let me ask again if there is a plasmoid with can display postings in a news group. (The Kontact counter part would be "Usenet".

I am not aware of anything like this but there is a recently imported Mail applet for Plasma into playground ( Can't remember its name atm )
