just updated to kde 4.2 and there is a bug with folder view positioning.

when i drag the folder view widget so somewhere on the screen, after few seconds it jumps to a different position. if i create 2 folder view widgets and try to plce them in two different spots, after few seconds they jump to the same spot, one over the other.

this bug make the use of folder view totally useless.

I cannot seem to reproduce the bug. Maybe try locking the widgets (Right click on desktop -> Lock Widgets)

But i want to move the folder view widget to a new place.
if i lock it, i wont be able to move it.

the widget "jumps" when the right black bar (with the resize/settings etc') fades out.

Problem solved!
I loged out and in again...
must be a system glitch...

This happens when you switch to folder view and back to desktop view in the same session. I picked this up on irc a while ago. No idea if there's a fix committed for the final version.

Yes, i did try desktop view....

so it's a bug, although a minor one...

I was actually suggesting that move it, and then lock it
