Hi, after fresh installation on KDE4.2RC (Gentoo, amd64) and cleaning completely setup in $HOME I have following problem:



As you can see fotn color is the sam as background
Am using default oxygen theme and default color scheme.
Does anybody know what is wrong there? Thanks.

OK, just by coincidence I have found a rootcause. It is an fornt without antialiasing - helvetica in my case. If I choose some font ("general font" in configuration dialog) which is using antialiasing like DejaVu Sans "Add Widget" dialog and Lancelot fonts are fine.

Now the question is if it is a KDE4 bug, X.org bug, NVidia bug or just wrong setup in my system.

Can anybody reproduce this problem?

TBH, I have absolutely no idea, it happened in all KDE 4.x (in Lancelot) but why, that is a completely different question. The fact that the applet browser exhibits the same problem could possibly lead to the source. I'll add it on my already-too-long-TODO-list
