kubuntu 8.10 kde 4.2 taskbar problem

wildmanne39 Registered Member Posts 17 Karma 0	kubuntu 8.10 kde 4.2 taskbar problem Thu Jan 29, 2009 4:47 am Hi,I really love kubuntu but I need a little help. I installed kde 4.2 and after I did my menu bar at the top of my open windows disappeared. I also messed up my task bar can anyone tell me how to fix these 2 problems? I could uninstall kde desktop and reinstall it to fix the taskbar problem If some one can tell me the exact name of the packages to uninstall. Per chance are you using a NVidia graphics chipset? Section "serverFlags" Option "IgnoreABI" EndSection Cary BTW I'm using Kubuntu Jaunty Ubuntu user 7859 registered Linux user 470405 Lenovo T61 Kubuntu Jaunty 64bit Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 / 2 GHz, 4 GB DDR II SDRAM - 667 MHz, NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M PCI Express, Wireless Intel 3945ABG
