Hi,

I installed kde 4.2 over my existing 4.1 installation and my toolbar with icons, clock and window list are lost. So i try to recreate the toolbar in the old style of 4.1 but have the problem, that the system panel for example is to big. Is there an way, set some how the width of an widget? For example I want the old style of the window list, that the unused space is empty and not "filled" the the space of the neighbour widgets.

Thx for any help

AFAIK there is no way to set the width of a single widget. Regarding the window list. This applet should aways take the "rest" of the space left by other widgets in a panel. I know no way to change that behaviour in 4.2
BTW: This used to be the same in 4.1, so no change in behaviour here.

I also find it annoying the way that some of the widgets (clock, system panel) expand their widths to fill up the panel. Is there anyone here knowledgeable enough to write a "filler" widget that just takes up the empty space?
