Im running opensuse 11.1 kde 4.2
and the lancelot 1.4 doenst work and i've seen 1.5 is out but every place i go to download it, it is a different version than 1.5

I am running same except it's 64bit and Lancelot is both working and v1.5 - you might check if there's been updates to the repo's. My kde is release 88.2

im also running 64bit sorry left that out and the release i'm on is 90.1
so if your running opensuse 11.1 what is the repo that you find lancelot and is version 1.5?
cause i always update everyday and it is still 1.4

Lancelot is not it's own rpm any longer, it is found in kde4-plasma-addons
you might have an old lancelot rpm (which you should uninstall) and not have installed the aforementioned one

And just to mention, I have received a few complaints from openSUSE users because they used snapshot of qt 4.4.4 (aka 4.4.3+2008xxxx). Qt 4.4.4 is not released yet and L doesn't work with it.

i believe that was the problem cause i downgraded my Qt packages and it seems to be working now
