Hi,
I installed kde 4.2.1 on my sidux (debian SID) machine; it works fine. But now: if I insert an audiodisc in cd/dvd drive...nothing happens. No autostart, nothing. There is an icon beside the start menu button (I do not know what the name of the icon/application is). If I connect a USB stick or a data cd/dvd it will be shown in this window. If I insert an audio cd or a DVD the "window" is empty. Only inserting an data cd works: then the disc is shown there. 1. whats the name of the described application? 2. why there is not shown/mounted any audio/video cd/dvd?

This is probably because there are no "Actions" for the type of media you just connected. Unfortunately this is still under development. KDE 4.3 will ship with an actions editor, allowing you to add these more easily.
