hi all,

is there a way to set the panel auto hide / always visible status with a console command? (i know i can do it by clicking in the configuration menu)

the reason i'm asking this is the following: when running a fullscreen game (quake), i don't want the panel to stay visible, whereas in all other circumstances, i want a visible panel. running quake3 in fullscreen mode doesn't allow me to switch to other windows, so i am running it in a window the size of my desktop, configured to be drawn without border (that's a very nice option, btw). the only problem is that i have to switch the panel to autohide mode as well. so i would like to have a small script which switches the panel to autohide, starts the game, and afterwards switches the panel to always visible again.

any ideas how to do this? or is there a way i can set a particular program to be able to cover the panel, while all other programs won't cover it?

best, zsaja
