I've accidentally closed kicker-panel (KDE 4.2.2) and found no way to get it back. Is there any way to do this except to delete plasma-appletsrc file?
"add new panel" item is accessible just from another existing panel. I think it's not a good idea. |

Same question: how do I restore a panel once I deleted it, but this time in KDE 4.1 (which is part of Suse SLED 11).
PS I've searched everywhere. On a suse forum they suggest creating a new user and moving to it!

You don't have an "Add Panel" option when right-clicking on desktop? (When widgets are unlocked).

No I do not have that. I have "Create New..." ... "Folder View Setting" "Desktop Settings" No "Add Panel" |

Maybe you have to change the Desktop Type to "Desktop" first. Right click -> Desktop Settings -> Change "Desktop Type". Then you should have an "Add panel" option. Finally, change back Desktop Type to Folderview.
