Hi,
since yesterday I have the problem that in my favourite plasma-theme slim-glow some parts of the theme are simply missing, so the whole plasma-desktop looks ugly and is unuseable... Other themes are working right. Just in Oxygen the same parts are missing. I think this is because they are sharing some svg-graphics... Is there some cache or so for the plasma-themes which I can delete? On another machine the same packages of kdeartwork etc are working fine, so the theme should be ok. Greets |

Hi balta, the files you're looking for should be in... /home/username/.kde4*/cache-hostname/kpc *-The folder may be called just .kde depending on your distro' I generally also remove the files referring to the theme in the folder above too /home/username/.kde4*/cache-hostname But make sure you've stopped plasma first with kquitapp plasma or kquitapp plasma-desktop if you are running trunk Hope it helps. Thanks for your answer.
But this didn't solved my problem. I also noticed that this happens with all users, even if I delete (move) the whole ~/.kde4-directory... Is there anything like an system-wide cache? I'm usind openSUSE 11.1 with KDE 4.2.2 from the build-service. Edit: I hope you can see what I mean, it should be slim-glow: Edit2: Today I made an update on another machine and there are similiar problems, so I think this is a bug in the current opensuse-packages.
