I am not sure if this is the correct forum to post this. But I am currently using LinuxMint 6 KDE CE edition. KDE version has been updated to 4.2.2 from the Kubuntu repos. It was working in 4.2.1 just fine.
But what happens is when I click on the menu button and want to search for a program by typing in the text box...it doesn't work UNLESS I first click on the text box. Only then am I able to type for a program. As I said, in 4.2.1...I could click on the menu button, then immediately start typing without having to first click on the text box. Anyone else have this issue? I tried searching for a bug but didn't find anything. Also, I would have filed one but I am not registered for bugzilla. Hopefully this gets resolved as it is very annoying having to first click to search. Thanks |

it's not the "right" forum: bugs.kde.org is; but this one has already been fixed

Thanks for moving it to the right forum aseigo! Will the next monthly update for May include the fix then? Or has it already been fixed and my updates from the Kubuntu repos have missed it. I sure hope it is the first one and not the second one or I will need to figure out what is going on with my system. Thanks |
