Hi everyone.
I am a new KDE user (was used to be a gnome-user before) and I am experiencing a sort of bug on KDE 4.2.2 (Ubuntu 9.04). I am running a dual monitor setup on a GF NVIDIA 6200 card with the official drivers 180 and twinview activated. On each screen I have a panel and a windowlist plasmoid. In each of them I checked the tick box to have only the task from the current desktop and screen. A the first look it seems to work, but during use I observed some windows appears in both windowlists despite the fact they are maximized or only located on one screen. I am still not able to identify the particular sequencing in order to reproduce the bug each time but it ofter occurs when I maximize and minimize windows. I also notices it happens when a new window is opened. I tried many things (check the screens positions, disabling effects) but it doesn't solve the problem. I think it is related to the fact KDE makes appear a window in the windowlist when it is appearing in the screen even if the major part of the window is still on a given screen (in Gnome the window change of windowlist when more than 50% of this window is appearing on the screen) Does somebody have this problem too ? |
