Not the real calendar, but the calendar you get when you click the clock. For some reason it starts the week on Monday, and I want it to start on Sunday.
How do I do that? BTW, using KDE 4.2

As far as I know, it follows your system settings:
System Settings -> Regional & Language -> (Country/Region & Language) -> Time & Date -> First day of the week.

Nope. In my system settings the calendar pictured there starts on Sunday, and the one that pops up from the clock starts on Monday.

This may be a bug in the applet. Please file a bug with Mandriva, who can forward it upstream to KDE if it still exists in Trunk.

OK. But I've never filed a bug report before. How do I do that? |

You will need to visit the Mandriva Bugzilla website ( probably like bugs.mandriva.com or something ), Register for an account, then file a new bug report.

This is not a Mandriva bug but a KDE bug.
In the Mandriva Control Center the calendar week starts on Sunday. In the KDE System Settings the calendar week starts on Monday. And I don't see any way to change that. Mandriva Control Center>System>Localization>Date and Time --> Starts on Sun. Configure Your Desktop>General>Computer Administration>Date and Time --> Starts on Mon. Incidentally, the Mandriva Bugzilla link is: https://qa.mandriva.com/ But I didn't file a bug report, because I don't think it is justified yet. Maybe we can still work this out...

Can't reproduce - changing first date of week in System Settings also changed the calendar in Plasma. Make sure that you restart Plasma after the change (as the popup dialog says) - either logout or run the following commands:

So this is just me? I'll check on the Mandriva forums, and if no solution is found, I'll submit a bug report. |

You've tried to change the "First day of the week" setting here, right? (See my first post if you wonder how to get there).
