How do I configure KDE 4 to group on the taskbar? In case you feel that question needs explaining, the explanation follows.

A while back I upgraded the KDE version I was using to KDE 4.1.3. In the past under KDE 3* I made substantial use of grouping icons from the same sort of application
together on the taskbar. I configured KDE to always group on the taskbar. So if was editing several files with an editor, I had only one item on the taskbar which when clicked would give me a list to editing sessions, allowing me to manipulate any of the editing sessions. I feel a very large taskbar is more in my way than helpful, so I didn't want to expand the size of the taskbar a great deal. Set up in this way, I felt I could have several applications running within a single desktop without getting to the point where I felt the taskbar was too cluttered. So far under KDE 4*, if I have several editing sessions, each has it's own icon in the taskbar. It appears to me as if the distribution of settings into various settings menus is somewhat different in KDE 4* than in KDE 3*. I've looked through the settings menus quite a bit, and made use of the search capability to try to locate settings menus which contain a phrase like "taskbar". But perhaps I probably just haven't managed to track down where to make the same sort of setting in KDE 4*. Where do I find the same setting for KDE 4*? Is it no longer on a menu, but instead in a config. file, or where? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ah! Before submitting this question I searched the forums for posts involving keywords like "taskbar" and "group". Apparently my search for a keyword "group" didn't match "grouping". No sooner had I submitted the post, than the "Possibly Related Threads..." section showed up under my post, and some of the information in those threads apparently revealed that I need to upgrade to KDE 4.2 to solve my problem!
