First and foremost, after using GNOME as my default GDM for the small span of my Linux endeavor I've just switched to KDE. I absolutely love it. KDE has certainly replaced GNOME on my box.
Yet, as with most new endeavors, there are a few bumps in the road. Many I've been able to work out by myself and find solutions on various forums. My most recent dilemma has not worked out as well. It isn't anything major yet it is a major pain: in the system tray widget KDE Wallet, volume control, KBluetooth4 and Klipper are there when I start my session. The problem occurs when I start Amarok and Kopete. They do not show up in the system tray widget. The way in which I've remedied this was by simple getting rid of the system tray widget and starting it back up. All of the icons appear and will work seamlessly, appearing when I start them from then on. Does anyone know why they aren't showing up by default? If so, is there a way in which I can remedy this issue? Thank you. I also apologize for posting in the wrong forum. Embarrassing.
