kde 4.2.95 kubuntu wierd AIR look

Thu Jul 02, 2009 4:37 am
Hi with kde 4.2.95 air theme I am seeing black corners and lines around the edges of applets and applications in task manager. Screen shot attached.
This should not be the case right? Please help me in fixing this.

Please try clearing the Plasma cache when Plasma isn't running:
Code: Select all
kquitapp plasma-desktop
rm -rf $(kde4-config --localprefix)/cache-*/plasm*
plasma-desktop &

That didnt work exactly.I had to log out and from a VT I deleted all the directories with cache* and tmp* from .kde directory.

Now things certainly are more smooth and polish. But one question. Is the dark spots around the corners of an application, except of top left in task manager widget intentional?

And is there any kwin air style like oxygen or is it just plasma only?
