Hi!
It may be uncommon to ask, but... is there a way to make KDE use the Esc key instead of Alt+F4? It would be a lot more convenient if I could close a window by simply hitting the Esc key instead of reaching out for the mouse or be stretching my hand to press two buttons at the same time Thanks for reading! |

System Settings -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Global Keyboard Shortcuts -> Choose KDE component "KWin" -> Close Window -> Custom.
If you just want it for some applications, such as Kopete chat windows, you can change the shortcut in most applications' Configure Shortcuts... dialog. |

Yes, that seems to be a serious usability issue with that dialog - it seems that a lot of users miss it.
Could you please add [SOLVED] to the topic title to reflect that the issue is solved? You can do this by clicking on |
