Very new to KDE. I started adjusting the panel, but somewhere along the line I lost my plasma dashboard. In the upper right corner is... forgive me I know the name not... a kind of 1/4 moon with a reverse comma that has the option to add widgets, but not the default. For example the default had Firefox, open office...etc.

The only one I can't live without is the one that opens to my documents, drives space, ram usage, and most important to me, my network.

So how do I get my default plasma dashboard back?

Thanks in advance and for having a spell check o)

In this case, it may just be best to remove your entire Plasma configuration. Open Konsole, and enter the following commands.

Code: Select all
killall -9 plasma plasma-desktop
rm -rf $(kde4-config --localprefix)/share/apps/plasma/
rm -f $(kde4-config --localprefix)/share/config/plasm*

Run "plasma-desktop" if using KDE 4.3, else run "plasma" after completing the above.
