On my Kubuntu JJ KDE.4.3 RC3 and KK Testing instalsI have a separate panel on the right side of my screen for application launchers and lancelot.

Arranging them in a certain oder only works for a running session. Every time I reboot the oder is randomly remixed.

How can I lock the order of my launchers?

The order of my launchers is:
1 firefox
2 kontact
3 openoffice
4 kate
5 konsole
6 synaptic (kpackigekit is still not reliable)
7 lancelot

After reboopt it is:
1 firefox
2 kontact
3 openoffice
4 lancelot
5 konsole
6 synaptic (kpackigekit is still not reliable)
7 kate

If you create a new user and replicate your configuration in that user does the problem occur?

This issue seems to have disappeared in Jaunty.

A new user in karmic seems not to show this behavior either (yet).

I guess I will wait for final and report back.

I copied all the plasma related files form .kde/share/config from the test user to my main user but the widgets still reanrrange themselves at reboot.

Which files do I have to configure/edit?
