system monitor applet

Fri Aug 14, 2009 11:26 am
I added the system monitor applet to the desktop. Turned on few items like hardware list and cpu monitor.

When I log out and back in, in addition to the system monitor applet, an additional hardware list and cpu monitor plasmoid appears on the desktop. Removal is useless as they reappears after re-login.

Start occurring after recent upgrade to 4.3. Any idea?

Thanks,

Do the new applets appear inside the "System Monitor" applet? If so, then this is a bug regarding its ability to save its current state on Plasma shutdown, and should be reported at bugs.kde.org.

No, the new applet are two independent applets: a cpu monitor and a hardware list

In addition, the "system monitor" has the same two applets INSIDE as well.

My current fix is simply remove the system monitor. Have two independent applets instead.

Do you have similar issue? Just turn on a few applet under system monitor, log out and log back in to see. If someone else can confirm, I will file a report.

Please report a bug in it so it can be fixed for future versions.
