Here are the standard widgets (I think) of KDE 4.2:

in kde 4.3 its /usr/share/apps/desktoptheme/default/widgets/toolbox.svgz

in 4.2 it does not exist in the folders

that's because in KDE 4.2 there was no svg, but the painting was hardcoded.

i guess the file (svg png whatever) must be somewhere in the source code tar.bz

then it is embedded into the binaries when compiling

it's not.
it was all done in C++, using QPainter.
