I like having window focus follow my mouse, but this KWin setting doesn't play nicely with the Lancelot menu (or any other menu, I assume). It is very easy to overshoot the menu, and then, if there is another window underneath, it will focus on the window and close the menu. I currently have the focus set to delay about a third of a second, which helps, but is very annoying to use for everything else.
I see that KWin has some settings to change the focus properties of an individual window. I have opened up the settings for the menu (Open Lancelot > alt+F3 > Advanced > Special Window Settings...), but am unsure to change to prevent focus from being taken with a mouse hover, but to focus on the window underneath when I click my mouse on it. Does anyone have a fix to this problem?[hr] Ugh, could a moderator move this thread to the "Desktop Environment & Window Manager" forum? Thanks.
