Hi.
Lately I tried to install *.plasmoid package by

Add Widget -> Install new widgets -> Install widget from local file

Those names could be different in English because I am using Polish translation but I think you know what I mean though.

In the list I select a default option (installation from *.plasmoid package). Then in file browser dialog I choose a *.plasmoid package (it has correct structure inside) but the "Next" button is still disabled and I can't finish the installation of the package.

Anyone knows what can be wrong?

Same here, i tried installing plasmoid and superkaramba from local files,but it seems fail.
Try installing from konsole, just read the man page

Thank you, your method worked fine for me.

According to this post this is due to a regression in Plasma.
