Annoying wastebasket bug. :/

Sun Sep 06, 2009 3:30 pm
Hey all

I've just been cleaning up old backups from my backup HD, trouble is, the wastebasket icon refuses to show it's empty, despite it really being empty. :/

Anyway to fix this?

Try removing the contents of ~/.local/share/Trash

There was a bug about the trashrc file (config file which stores the Trash folder state) not being updated properly on some situation. This was fixed in trunk and branch. (4.4 and future 4.3.2).
Restarting should help to reset the Wastebasket widget state; but it will happen again until you get 4.3.2
