I saw in few places note that since KDE4.2 plasmoids can be displayed on locked screen. How can I set this?

System Settings -> Desktop -> Screen Saver -> "Allow widgets on screen saver".

Thanks. As I can see only some plasmoids are screensaver-compatible. Is it possible to manually enable others? I especially think about something to control amarok

They are disabled for security reasons, I think. Unfortunately I don't know how to enable them.

For future searchers: to enable manually I copied right fragment of plasma-desktop-appletsrc into plasma-overlay-appletsrc in ~/.kde/share/config folder, in my case it was:

Code: Select all
[Containments][1][Applets][60]
geometry=6.00000000000011,434.5,445.5,445.5
immutability=1
plugin=playwolf
zvalue=63

and everything starting [Containments][1][Applets][60]
