Hi, is there a way to disable piling up of notifactions? I hate it when they pile up up to the topmost part of my screen... The behavior is really disruptive...

There is a little arrow in the upper-right of the notification list to minimize the list to just a summary.

Which KDE version do you use? 4.3 supports stacking (I think that's the correct term) notifications; as TheBlackCat pointed out, you get a summary instead of lots of notifications.

I am using Kubuntu Karmic.
So thankful it has the Ayatana notifications integrated...

I tried this but it didn't work and the little arrow does appear anymore. Is there a way to let the bubble appear once at time for notifications of the same kind-- say status update of my contacts in kopete. My desktop experience really gets ruined when 5 or more of my contacts get online at the same time. I was wrong, ayatana notifications is not integrated well and it just complicates things... Maybe I would request for this feature it it isn't possible yet...

No, that isn't currently possible.

I have made a request about this... Just wondering where it is now? It hasn't surfaced in the Brainstorm section for almost 3 days now. Is the validator on vacation?
