Widget on a single desktop

Wed Sep 23, 2009 11:10 pm
Hi

How can I add a widget on one single virtual desktop instead of on all of them?

Sorry if this is a too simple question on which the answer can be found elsewhere. I've tried to solve this myself and looked around on fora...

Thanks

You can do this by linking activities to virtual desktops:

Requires KDE version >= 4.3.

Thanks, however, if I click on the upper right 'button,' I can only add widgets, there is not 'zoom out.'

Ok, I've installed kde 4.2, now I can zoom out...but there is no menu in the left upper corner with the option 'configure plasma.' Can you help me with that?

Thanks.

Sorry to say this, but that feature appeared in KDE 4.3 :(

Yeah, I wrote that in my post. ;)
Requires KDE version >= 4.3.

If you use 4.1 you should definitely upgrade.
