Better design of calendar

Thu Sep 24, 2009 6:31 am
One thing is killing me in KDE4 over the months.
New versions come, but the calendar plasmoid is still ugly as it was.

1. How can change its theme by myself to become similar to:

?

2. Is there an easy way to replace calendar default design each time i reinstall KDE4?

3. Is there a way to get the default theme replaced with a better one?

Unfortunately I do not know how Plasma creates the calendar, but if it is fully themed, then it will be easy to create a theme using a program such as Inkscape with the needed changes.

You would not be able to remove the week / day selector from the bottom however.

My main concern is mostly colors and text size and position.
Do you agree that it's looking crowded?

The options you are looking for are likely governed by C++ code. You may wish to file a bug / feature request at bugs.kde.org. I agree that ( especially when selected ) the text looks a bit crammed in.
