Plasma widget editing

Mon Sep 28, 2009 3:22 pm
I would like to modify the font size on the temperature system monitor widget. Where is the configuration file for this widget located?

Normally it is located in
Code: Select all
~/.kde4/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc

If the it doesn't work for you, replace ~/.kde4 with the output of
kde4-config --localprefix
out of a Konsole.
I don't know if the applet stores the configuration about the font size. If not, maybe you want to ask the developer of it to allow the user to change the font size. You can do this through http://bugs.kde.org.

I hope it helps you
Jan

Font information is not stored in that file. I had found that previously. I will take your other advice re asking the developer. But it is curious to me that there is not a config file defining this.

Note that in many cases Plasma automatically determines the font size needed.
