Greetings,

I've recently upgraded to a newer version of KDE on Kubuntu, and a middle click on my desktop now pops up a yellow note. I would like to change the shortcut to alt+middle mouse button if possible. Failing that, how could I remove the yellow-note-on-middle click trick, or remove middle click pastes stuff completely?

Cheers.

It cannot be changed in KDE 4.3. It will be possible to change it in 4.4, though.

Locking the widgets should prevent pasting to a note widget. (while you wait for KDE4.4)

I was really impressed with this behavior, but it seems to be inconsistent. Often when I middle-click, I get a small menu that just lists Web Browser and Notes. If I click either of those, Plasma crashes (on Kubuntu 9.10 RC). However, every once and a while I get the clipboard contents pasted as a note, which is what I want. Is there a bug on this, or does anyone know how to correct. I just want the notes function.
