Hi there,

I been trying to set Alt+F1 (application launcher) to Meta + Spacebar (to emulate Gnome-DO shortcut key). Everytime after the system restarted, the global shortcut key always fall back to Alt+F1.

Any ideas?

This sounds like Plasma is failing to shutdown correctly, or there is a bug in Plasma. If you make other changes to your desktop, such as adding a new plasmoid does that change persist.

So you added a new widget and logged out and back in and the new widget remained?

This is likely to be a bug in KDE 4.3. Please file a bug at bugs.kde.org aganist the Plasmoid that is having issues. If it is a third party plasmoid downloaded using GHNS ( Get Hot New Stuff ) please report that to the author at kde-look or kde-apps after ensuring you have the latest version installed.

Apparently I had found this issue being logged at https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/ ... bug/380869

Since I am using KDE 4.3.2 under Kubuntu, better I subscribe to the above link. Thanks for the help so far.

Should I mark this issue as "Fixed"?
