Task Manager Grouping

Sat Oct 24, 2009 3:54 pm
Hey,

As I remember, when I intalled KDE 4.3.2 on my Gentoo, at first when the Task Manager grouped my apps it showed me them as thumbnails, but now somehow it shows me a list...
Is there any way to change it back to thumbnails?
My compositing is working...

If you hover over a normal un-grouped application, does a thumbnail get displayed?

Unfortunately I cannot find a configuration setting for what you are referring to, and I have myself never seen it. It is possible that the feature will only show for short lists ( 1-2 items )

Are you sure you weren't using stasks? This feature has never been present in the default task manager.
