Plasmoids and Panel drag drop issue

Tue Oct 27, 2009 4:52 pm
Hi everyone,
I was checking out some plasmoids today, and by mistake dragged Parley plasmoid into my panel. It is sitting there eversince and I'm not able to get it out of there. Haven't restarted KDE yet, but wished to know if this is common to all plasmoids, or a bug with Parley?

Thanks for giving us plasma, I find them very useful - facebook, xkcd, stickynotes, Parley vocabs.

Best!

Click on cashew (yellow icon in panel) -> right click on plasmoid -> remove.

I haven't used parley, but in general you should be able to just right-click on the plasmoid and select the "Remove this" +plasmoid-name. Assuming the widgets are unlocked, which yours are according to the screenshot.

If that doesn't work for some reason, you can bring up the "Add widgets" window. In it, locate the parley-plasmoid and click on the minus-sign.

Thanks all,
The minus-sign tip worked :)
Now that I've switched to kubuntu 9.10, Parley is absent in the plasmoids list.
