I'm using KDE 4.3.2 on Debian testing here, and I've found a strange problem. I'm using "Different activity for each desktop" and it generally works well. But if I specify a slideshow for a desktop, then logout, the desktop is blank when I log back in (I use no plasmoids on my desktops). Strangely, the settings when I go to Desktop Settings are exactly as I left them, the wallpaper is set to Slideshow and the folder I selected is still there, but Plasma will only apply the settings once I change something and change it back so I can hit Apply.

This doesn't happen with static wallpapers, they retain their settings for some reason.

Hey! I got exactly the same problem since I upgraded to Kubuntu Karmic, except that I don't use slideshow but customized wallpapers (that is using my own pictures as wallpapers). I don't get the problem with statis wallpapers indeed.

I'm using a Kubuntu desktop on Linux Mint 8 with KDE 4.3.3. The problem still exists in 4.3.3. I use slideshow and four virtual desktops At least three of them will be blue when I log back in. Is this a bug?
