Dead Skype element stuck in taskbar

Mon Dec 07, 2009 3:20 pm
I've the problem after sometimes maximizing and minizming Skype that there remains a "dead" non usable item in the taskbar. Even when I quit Skype the element is still in the taskbar and takes up space, but I can't do anything with it. If I do a right click and "close" it doesn't do anything. I've to restart KDE to make it disappear.

Is this a known bug? Any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks for the quick response. I will try to use "manual grouping" as recommended and see if that helps.
