Hello
plasma-desktop crash on startup profile when KNetworkManager starts as well on begining of the session. Now I have saved my session without KNetworkManager and start it each time. So first think I have to do is start KNetworkManager - it is lame ... I have bugreport on https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=214621, but no one know there. What about you? Thanks for advices. |

I don't use knetworkmanager myself, but I suspect the plasma-crash is due to some misbehaving widget that tries to access the network before knetworkmanager has established a connection.
Moved to plasma, since it is plasma that crashes for you and not networkmanager even though they're related.

Please ensure you have enabled the Updates repository in YaST > Software > Software Repositories, and ensure you have installed all available Software updates, especially those for Samba.

I also had this crashes after logging in to kde 4.4 rc1 after an upgrade from 4.3
I fixed it by deleting .kde/share/config/plasm* files.

Does this action still working fine as well? Cuz I'm using Arch with KDE 4.4.1, fully updated system and I have the same issue. |
